Application subsidie Nieuwe Makers with Alaa Minawi
We are very exited to pre announce that performance artist Alaa Minawi and us will applicate for the subsidie Nieuwe Makers from Fonds Podiumkunsten this august.
Palestinian-Lebanese performance artist Alaa Minawi has a background as a light designer and scenographer, creating beautiful set and light designs for successful performances by Daria Bukvic and Saman Amini. But it’s his autonomous work that caught our eye; whether installations like "my light is your light" and "waiting for it to end", or performances like his "2048" series.
