Tijdens dit terugkerende programma ontdek je de ideeënwereld van de kunstenaar, die aan nieuw werk ten grondslag ligt. Deze editie met Sarah Kaushik. Je krijgt deze avond een inkijk in het creatieproces en neemt deel aan een collectieve feedback sessie; je maakt dus zelf ook onderdeel uit van het maakproces. Te gast: muzikant en scenograaf Elsa Van der Linden.

Get an insight into a creative process. An artist invites someone to share an idea or practice that inspires their research. You get to see some snippets and experiments of the work-in-progress and take part in a collective feedback session.
Sarah Kaushik will share artistic research that is about soundscaping a landscape: "Collectively, we will create a soundscape of a landscape I once visited. This is an invitation to co-create and build a memory together, of revisiting stories from another place, and experiencing it together at Het Huis. As a choir, we will sing, move and experience."
Elsa van der Linden does research in catching the moment, through listening, performing and documenting. As a musician and scenographer she is interested in the unexpected happenings of the surroundings.

About Sarah Kaushik & Elsa van der Linden
Sarah Kaushik studeerde Masters of Scenography (HKU 2020-2022) en is zelfstandig artiest en designer sinds 2010. Daarnaast is ze digitaal collage artiest en betrokken bij coaching traject Baltan Laboratories. Werk van Sarah is te zien geweest tijdens Oerol Festival 2023. Elsa van der Linden is musicus en scenograaf en maakt deel uit van improvisatie ensemble BUI en Theater Collectief Ellipsis.
