Tijdens dit terugkerende programma nodigt een maker een gast uit om kennis te maken met een idee of inspiratiebron voor het werk in de maak. Dit keer is dat Lux Sauer, met als gast Iris van Peppen.
In deze tweedelige avond ontdek je de ideeënwereld van de kunstenaar, die aan nieuw werk ten grondslag ligt. Je krijgt een inkijk in het creatieproces en neemt deel aan een collectieve feedback sessie; je maakt dus zelf ook onderdeel uit van het maakproces!

Get an insight into a creative process. An artist invites someone to share an idea or practice that inspires their research. You also get to see some snippets and experiments of the work-in-progress and take part into a collective feedback session.
Lux Sauer will share artistic research that is about being trans and the attempt to ‘pass’ as a tiger. Translating the process of ‘transitioning’ into an animal body elevates the topic into a different level of (in)visibility and lifts it up from popular narratives about being trans. The choreographic exploration is strongly informed by a somatic practice.
Lux invites Iris van Peppen whose somatic practice has inspired his artistic research. Together, they will invite you to open up your senses and land into your body. From that somatic perspective, you get a sneak peak of Lux’s work-in-progress and take part in a collective feedback session.
